Lakeland, FL has this thing called the Safari Wilderness where you can explore via camel or var.
You get to see all sorts of pets & be right up close to them. When I was a kid we did a certainly similar thing, however i remember passionate seeing all the pets & being right there. I remember feeding them fruit loops in particular. It was hard finding something similar in this afternoon & age, thankfully my part of Lakeland typically has tons to do for teenagers. There are museums, parks, zoos, & aquariums. I recently just came across the Safari Wilderness exploration thing, but my child genuinely enjoyed it, however she has typically been fascinated with pets & constantly wants to see them. I liked that it felt less like a zoo. Honestly zoos have typically made me concerned to see them like that. The pets seemed much more free. I also liked that you can go anytime since you are safe in a car. I can plan to go even if it is cold or slightly rainy. Thankfully Lakeland, FL offers some genuinely nice weather. The only snag would be the drastic heat, and from the car I can crank the A/C & the teenagers in the back don’t know the difference. I am constantly on the hunt for neat things I enjoy in Lakeland. The part seems to typically come up with something particular for the demand. I would never live somewhere else. I don’t know if I would ever want to do that Safari on a camel though. That sounds pretty odd.
