Traveling the USA on the Cheap

A lot of our work friends are envious because I live in Tampa; I moved here several weeks back when I was first assigned to a year-long task.

• I didn’t expect things to be perfect, but I did think it would be more fun that I am currently having.

I didn’t want to extend the time on the task, but I don’t have much choice. In the last several weeks, the task has been extended for numerous additional weeks & it looks as if I will be living in Tampa for the entire time. I don’t mind living in Tampa, FL but it is not all roses & fairy dust prefer our friends believe. My apartment is really costly & I have to take an Uber to work everyday. I didn’t want to take our automobile to the office, because that meant driving a truly long distance instead of flying, but the weather in Tampa FL is really horrible. It’s hot, muggy, & humid. I tried to go to the beach Last year on our afternoon off & the gulf water was covered with red algae. I could not go someplace near the beach after I found out this is called a red tide, then red tide is a significant problem that affects Florida beaches prefer Davis Islands in Tampa. The problem continues to worsen with every single year. I suppose it seems like it would be nice to live by the water, but when the water is filled with bacteria & viruses, I can’t surf, swim, or water ski… When this task is finished next year, I’m going to take a new task in a new state. I have spent enough time in Tampa to suppose that Florida is not the venue for when I want to put down roots or beginning a family.

I moved to CA almost nine years ago to work for a small cannabis dispensary.

Every one of us had an immense celebration in downtown Tarzana to honor the opening of the dispensary. After two years, the sales at the new arena are steadily changing. The shop in Tarzana is doing OK and the shops right in downtown Los Angeles. It seems clear that the community is cheerful with all out products plus our prices. Every one of us even offer a deal with the pizza shop in our center; You can also order a large pie plus another plus have them delivered at the same time.

My husband Ron has consistently dreamed of working at the Getty Center located in Los Angeles. The Getty Center is 1 of the most famous and beautiful arenas in all of Los Angeles County. This area Offers unique views of the town plus the most amazing architecture. When my husband was brought in for a position in the Getty Center, he wanted to transfer to Los Angeles. Every one of us were living down in San Diego at the time, plus I knew that both of us could not afford to transfer to Los Angeles. Ron looked for real estate but both of us only had a few weeks to find something affordable plus closer to The Getty Center. I work from home, so that eliminated having to worry about 1 person’s working location. Ron plus I were easily odd with the towns around Los Angeles, but Ron found several arenas for rent in a town called Tarzana. Tarzana was a nice arena to live when Ron plus I moved here 15 years ago. Since recreational marijuana was legalized, there have been a large number of dispensaries open in the retail spaces near my home. Ron plus I are terribly unhappy about this turn of events plus believe it will 1 afternoon affect the property value. The cannabis industry is booming, but it is having a downside impact on my property values. No 1 wants to transfer close to the location of a cannabis shop. The only nice thing about living here in Tarzana is the fact that the Getty Center is still just a short 30-minute drive. With local gas prices nearing $5 a gallon, both of us have to stay put.

Unluckily, the town is getting bigger plus people are moving away to much cheaper arenas

I have a lot of associates in the entertainment contractor biz that are my customers so I need to work at the office in downtown LA, but real estate is too lavish to buy an apartment in Los Angeles, so my husband Tom plus myself have an apartment in Tarzana. This neighborhood is located about 30 minutes away from downtown LA. On my normal afternoon commute, it consistently takes closer to a minute. A lot of people live in spots like Tarzana but have jobs in Los Angeles county. My husband plus I were living in an apartment until both of us had our second child plus then both of us opted to move, and when both of us moved to Tarzana, it was an easily quiet suburban space with much less crime. Ever since recreational plus marijuana was legalized, the quality of living in Tarzana has gone very much downhill. I do not have any complications with people that use recreational or medical marijuana. In fact, Tom plus I have been known to toke a joint at a gathering. Unluckily, the town is getting bigger plus people are moving away to much cheaper arenas. In a couple of years, Tarzana is not going to be an arena where I want to retire. After all my kids are out of the apartment plus off to university, I think it might be time for Tom plus I to transfer away from the town completely. I would happily retire plus transfer to San Jose or maybe Morgan Hill; Both of these arenas are a bit further north, but the real estate is cheaper plus the weather is quite nice.

The park sprawls all the way to Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles. Just a couple of weeks ago, my friends plus I went to the state park early in the afternoon. Every one of us wanted to spend the entire afternoon hiking 1 of the most strenuous trails. Every one of us were hoping to reach the peak before suppertime plus the hottest area of the afternoon. Every one of us had to leave by 7:30 in the afternoon, well before the first recreational marijuana dispensary in our neighborhood opened, so I ordered from the cannabis shop the night before both of us left for the hike. Seattle, WA definitely has some of the most interesting museums that I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting.

Not especially long ago, I went to Seattle for a supplier conference. The only thing I was genuinely pleased about was the fact that recreational cannabis was legal in this state! I did not want to go to the supplier conference, however at least I was going to spend the time getting high as a kite while I attended all of the pointless seminars. We had a relatively fun day filled with tourist activities plus it made me feel slightly better about being stuck in WA.

All of us got some genuinely delicious food from a small eatery in downtown Seattle plus then I went to the Bill plus Melinda Gates Discovery Center. All of us had a legitimately excellent day filled with tourist activities plus it made me feel quite a bit better about being stuck in WA.
