A few years ago, our kid Jason decided that she wanted to move to Spokane WA… I wasn’t fully on board with her decision because it is so far from home! The two of us live in the Southeast region of the country so getting to where she lives is not self-explanatory.
In fact, most flights to Spokane from where the two of us live are affixing flights with a couple of hours of layover time in between, then jason loves to travel, plus she is an outdoorsy person, so I understand why she moved to Spokane.
That area is known for hiking, their mountain terrain, waterfalls, plus rivers, which is perfect for Jason because she loves to hike plus explore modern sites, last year, Jason invited me plus her dad to visit him in Spokane. I was looking forward to seeing him, but I was not looking forward to the travel time. It took us 9 hours to get to Spokane from where the two of us live, but I must admit the town was appealing plus the two of us had a wonderful time. It was the middle of Winter time when the two of us got there, plus it was brutally cold, but so, the two of us had to dress in lots of layers of clothing. Thankfully, Jason has a smart programmable thermostat in her home, so each day when the two of us returned from sightseeing, her beach house was nice plus warm… She was able to program the thermostat to turn on 30 minutes before the two of us arrived back at her house. There is nothing more satisfying than walking into a moderate house when the temperature is 30 degrees outside. If I lived in this area, I would invest in a thermostat prefer that because it would be our only saving grace from the brutal cold.
