I love my apartment in Tampa, FL, however my husband & I moved down south after my siblings left a few years ago. We knew my great friend and I would end up in Tampa near my family… The issue with city living is that it is so extravagant. The goal was to find property, privacy, for a satisfactory price. We hunted around all over the place until my great friend and I found the location that works just perfect. We found a nice apartment & a good ploy of land in Tampa. My husband & I have particularly put down roots. My husband built an outdoor shed to apartment his tools. We just added an above ground pool to combat the heat of the FL summers. We have a nice front porch, a crucial deck, & most of our apartment is remodeled, however both my siblings have moved further north. They are now both in Jacksonville, FL. That means to get to them is around three hours now, however it is ridiculous. I hate that they have moved to a unusual part of FL. My husband & I aren’t quite sure what to do, however on one hand my great friend and I don’t like the extreme heat & humidity of Tampa… Quality A/C only takes you so far after all! Going north in FL is a smarter move. The housing should be cheaper in that less known city, then however, my great friend and I have built our apartment the way my great friend and I like it. We have things that matter to us now. I have set up a nest for kids to arrive & I like the school districts. The whole point of moving to FL was to be near my family. So with them not living there, why are my great friend and I even in Tampa?
