It’s a shock to the plan when your parents die and you have to be the a single responsible for all family matters… This is a new experience for me, I don’t know if anyone else can relate to it; First I had to deal with the lawyers and the bankers, settling accounts and such.
- Then I dealt with the insurance companies, who are even less fun than the bankers! Finally I had to go through our parents house and property and sort out their personal effects.
This is how I came to find out that our dad had a secret minute family in Lowell, Michigan. Don’t worry this isn’t a single of those weepy blog posts about how hard our life is, because sincerely I care about our newly discovered relatives, and I also care about the town of Lowell, but it’s not a immense town, however there is typically a lot to do and to see in the Lowell area. I have typically loved fishing, and the Flat River next to Lowell offers a wide array of good fishing spots. Another thing I have loved for years is smoking cannabis, which is another aspect of Lowell that surprised me. I never thought a town as small as Lowell would have such amazing locally grown cannabis. The only thing better than going fishing is going fishing with a fat sack of cannabis, and Lowell has me covered on both counts! One day I could see myself settling down in Lowell for good, however for the moment I will just care about our time here as I get to know our secret other family.
