Most years I can get away with a small space heater in the bedroom during the winter.

I live in Rocklin, california. The coldest months of the year are December, January, and February. There is plenty of rain during the winter and very cool temperatures, but there is rarely any snow or freezing temperatures in Rocklin, California. The temperatures can be chili at times, so I have always kept a small space heater in the bedroom. If I close the door and keep the windows closed, then the room has a nice ambient temperature of 80°. I bought the space heater about 10 years ago and it is starting to show its age. There is a lot of wear and tear that happens throughout 10 years. This space heater has been knocked over a dozen times and once it tumbled over and fell all the way down the stairs. I’ve been thinking about getting a ductless heating unit for the house. I spoke with a Rocklin heating company to get an idea of the price and installation service that was involved. I thought that I might be able to buy a ductless heater online and install it on my own, but the installation process was a little more involved than I expected after talking to the service technician from the Rocklin Heating company. I still haven’t made any decisions about what I’m going to do, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to contact the heating company and have the ductless system installed before it gets too cold this year.
