I was casual about it and started to stroll by when she stopped me and reciprocated my compliment with a positive comment about my t-shirt. Brother has lived on the outskirts of Tampa for many years now.

He lived in a rural community known as Wesley Chapel for quite a while, and now he removed a little bit farther south of Tampa.

If anyone asks where he lives though, the immediate answer is Tampa. That is because most people who are familiar with Florida will know right where Tampa is. Every time I go down to visit my brother, I think about how fabulous it would be to live in Tampa. Tampa has outdoor activities Galore, including things revolving around Tampa Bay. Tampa has all kinds of sporting teams like the Buccaneers or the Rays. Tampa has museums you teach your kids all about stuff. End not to be outdone once the sun goes down, Tampa is home to Fabulous Cuisine and fun nightlife. It is also quite common to find homes in Tampa that have all kinds of amazing amenities. My brother’s home has a swimming pool, like a lot of houses in the area. He has an amazing security system, like lots of others. The most amazing thing about his home near Tampa, though, is his modern HVAC system with fabulous HVAC technology. Because Tampa is in Florida and the thermostat often reaches very high temperatures, having great air conditioning is a must. My brother’s home has HVAC with Zone control. He is able to set the thermostats to different temperatures according to which part of the home is in use. For example, he rarely has the air conditioning running full time in the spare bedrooms. However, when we come to visit, all he does is change the thermostat settings via his app on his phone, and magically we have air-conditioned comfort in the spare bedroom.

When it came time to apply for college, I was dead set on leaving Washington to attend the University of California, but I didn’t get accepted.

I also applied to school in Michigan to be closer to my extended family, but the cost of school in Ann Arbor was just too much.

Instead, I stayed close to home and got my associates degree at Spokane Community College. I rented an apartment on East Marshall Avenue for a number of years and rode my bike to campus whenever the weather would permit. My parents have radiant heated flooring in their townhouse in Dishman Hills and a huge fireplace in the living room that actually has a heat reclaiming system with ductwork as well. They have a gorgeous home and I love visiting them whenever I have an excuse to drive over there from Spokane on Interstate 90. The students at Spokane Community College don’t realize how easy they have it compared to people like me who had to deal with substandard heating systems when we were students there.
