At the end of the day, I’m ready to go home and relax.
I hate having to sit on the freeway and traffic.
I try not to leave the office until after 6:00 p.m. in order to avoid most of the delays. It still takes me over an hour to get from Chicago to my home in Alsip, Illinois. Alsip, Illinois is a great place to live. It’s generally quiet and there isn’t a lot of crime. Most of the people are friendly and kind and everyone knows their neighbor. My wife and I decided to buy a house in Alsip about 10 years ago. We got a great deal on a three-bedroom ranch with a pool in the backyard. Pools are extremely rare in this part of the country, because we get a lot of snow and I’ll sit and the ground freezes. We have to have a special pool heating system to keep the pool from freezing when it gets cold. Every year before the winter season starts, we have the pool heating system tuned up and inspected by the Alsip heating company. They evaluate the heating system and fix any problems that might become an issue later during the year. When I get home from work at the end of a long day, I often go outside and swim a couple of laps in the heated pool. It makes my body and bones feel better and it’s great exercise for my joints. It’s also great for my mental health. It gives me a chance to get rid of the tension, stress, and anxiety from the first half of my day.
