Denver has a population around 710,000 people… It is one of the top 20 most populous cities in the entire country; Denver is located east of the Rocky Mountain range.

Denver is in the mountain time zone along with WY and Montana; Since that section is heavily populated, that means there are higher prices on nearly everything in the region… Food at the grocery store is more luxurious and so is dining out at a steakhouse; Even the price of dry cleaning and laundry services are more luxurious, but the price of real estate is more luxurious in the neighborhood of Denver and the cost of living is generally higher as well. Even the cost of recreational marijuana is higher in Denver. I have driven all over Colorado and I have bought recreational marijuana from many different dispensaries. Denver has some of the highest prices on recreational marijuana and I suppose it is due to the big population. There are more people buying products and they can charge higher prices. The Average cost of a 1 gram indica joint at any dispensary in Colorado is $13, but the average cost of a one gram marijuana joint at any dispensary in Denver is $15. That is a clear indication that Denver is a neighborhood where things cost more than average. That does not stop my friends from spending time in Denver. It is one of the stadiums where the eveninglife is hopping every evening of the week, especially during the pigskin and basketball seasons.
