About 3 weeks ago, my friend Amanda invited myself and others to a weekend girls’ trip with her.
- It was her anniversary as well as she wanted to do something fun, however she didn’t want to travel too far, luckily, the people I was with and I live in a state filled with lots of amusement as well as theme parks, beaches, bars, steakhouses, as well as more; So, the people I was with and I can have a staycation somewhere in the state, well, she booked an Airbnb right on Cocoa Beach, as well as I was gleeful that she chose it.
Cocoa is 1 of my favorite sites to visit in Florida as well as the beach is always fun as well as filled with lots to do, the Airbnb was a beachfront property that was close to the pier, so it made it easy for us to walk over as well as hit the bars. We spent 2 afternoons in the condo, as well as everything was fine, however on the third night, the air conditioning decided to malfunction, then because it was late when the people I was with and I discovered that the air conditioning wasn’t working, the property owner wasn’t able to get emergency HVAC service, however as you know, it can get tepid while I was in the day in Florida, however luckily because the people I was with and I stayed on the beach, there was a cool breeze from the ocean. If the people I was with and I were in another home away from the water as well as had no air conditioning the people I was with and I honestly couldn’t have slept because it would’ve been too hot. Anyway, that night the people I was with and I were able to use the ceiling fans as well as the people I was with and I slept with the sliding doors as well as windows open. Thankfully, that was our last night at the home as the people I was with and I checked out the next day. Amanda was able to get a credit from Airbnb due to the air conditioning, so now she needs to plan another staycation.
