It is one of the top 20 most populous cities in the entire country, however denver is located east of the Rocky Mountain range. It is located in the north central section of the state. Denver is in the mountain time zone along with WY plus Montana, and since that section is heavily populated, that means there are higher prices on nearly everything in the region, however food at the grocery store is more expensive plus so is dining out at a diner… Even the price of dry cleaning plus laundry services are more expensive! The price of real estate is more expensive in the city of Denver plus the cost of residing is generally higher as well. Even the cost of recreational marijuana is higher in Denver. I’ve driven all over Colorado plus I have purchased recreational marijuana from numerous different dispensaries. Denver has some of the highest prices on recreational marijuana plus I believe it is due to the large population. There are more people buying products plus they can charge higher prices. The Average cost of a 1 gram indica joint at any dispensary in Colorado is $13, however the average cost of a one gram marijuana joint at any dispensary in Denver is $15. That is a clear indication that Denver is a city where things cost more than average. That doesn’t stop my friends from spending time in Denver. It is one of the locales where the nightlife is hopping every night of the week, especially during the pigskin plus basketball seasons.
