Phoenix temperatures were cold and rainy that December morning

Every time there is rain, snow, or cold temperatures, we get a lot of calls for heating repairs.

I like this time of the year much better than the summer.

Every day during the summer is filled with air conditioner repair. The winter months are the only time when a Phoenix heating and AC repairman can take a break. Last December I took a permanent break from working as a Phoenix heating and AC repairman. A customer called the repair service where I was working because she was having trouble with the furnace. My boss sent me to the call. I was sitting on the interstate for nearly 30 minutes. I called my boss to let him know that I was definitely going to be later than I expected. I did not have the phone number for the customer, so I wanted someone to contact the customer in Phoenix to let her know that I was running late. I got off the phone with my boss. I put the phone in the seat next to me and that’s when I got hit. Another car struck the back of my HVAC work truck. The car tried to leave the scene of the accident too, but traffic was moving too slowly for the guy to go anywhere quickly. Police arrived on the scene and I had to go to the emergency room. I couldn’t finish my day of HVAC repairs. I went to a hospital in Phoenix and I was diagnosed with significant damage to my neck and my back. That was the end of my HVAC career.
