When I accepted a job offer, it required me to transport to the Buffalo area, however i’d never been to NY state before. I grew up in the deep south plus had never even seen actual snow. I was familiar with hot plus cold temperatures in the triple digits plus high humidity… Running the was just about a year round necessity. The lake effect snow is caused by the proximity of the neighborhood to Lake Erie. The clouds draw moisture from the unfrozen lake plus drop it in the form of snow. While snow is entirely appealing, it’s also heavy, wet, freezing plus a lot of work… Shoveling snow is awful plus frustrating. I can spend hours clearing the walking way plus brushing off our motorcar before I go to bed at evening plus then wake up in the morning plus need to do it again.
