I told my Dad that I would take her to the town last Monday! Both of us wanted to go to the mall & supercenter & I was hoping to hit Costco on the way home, then i picked up my Dad in Glenview & it was a easily moderate & humid afternoon.
I was cheerful & thankful for the A/C in the car, however my Dad complained about the indoor temperatures, although I wouldn’t turn the A/C off completely. It’s been getting warmer & warmer every year. In this part of Illinois, my wonderful friend and I have moderate summers with humidity & tons of sunshine, and during the winter it is cold & often frigid during January & February. My family & I like to spend our vacation weeks by the lake in the Summer months. I was telling my Dad about our Summer vacation plans when she mentioned the old Summer cottage that my Uncle Bill owned. It’s part of the family now & anyone can use the space! Unfortunately, I have to deal with my sibling & I hate having to ask her for anything; She always tries to make me beg & it’s truly terrible. I told my Dad that I would rather stay property in Glenview all Summer than have to beg my sibling for anything. My Dad was pretty quiet the rest of the way home, although she didn’t complain about the indoor temperatures even one time. She didn’t say much of anything for the entire 30 minute ride back to Glenview. I bet my Dad went into the home & called my sibling.
