I live in a small town in the Southern section of the country! And our town is so small that the people I was with and I have less than a thoUSnd people residing in it, but it’s a farming town and the people I was with and I are known for our berries and fruit farms, but my kid Mia hated residing here, so the first chance she got, she left and moved to a big city… She ended up moving to Chicago with a few of her friends, and I have yet to visit her.
I don’t care about being in cities that big, however Mia was able to convince me to visit.
I told her that I would be staying outside of the city. Thankfully, I was able to find a hotel close by in Lansing, IL. It’s a small suburb outside of Chicago, and it has some small town charm. The town was amazing, and the hotel was absolutely nice. I did have an issue with the air conditioner though; When I arrived, the room was quite tepid even though the weather was charming outside. I called the front desk to report the issue with the air conditioner. In no time, there was a repair lady knocking at the door ready to repair the broken unit, unluckyly, she was unable to, so I was moved to a weird room. The minute room was amazing because the hotel staff updated me to 1 of their suites, due to the inconvenience. And the air conditioner worked perfectly great in the modern room. All the staff was so nice and welcoming, and they made me know at home, however perhaps section of the small town charm of Lansing, IL.
