Call myself and others a hipster, but my absolute preferred thing to do in Phoenix is to go to First Wednesday at Roosevelt Row aka RoRo, however i have been going for about 7 years now, and I have watched it grow into what it is today. I appreciate the music, live entertainers, the art, the food, the vendors, the festivals, and everything else in between, when my friends or family come into town, they consistently request that the two of us go to RoRo for a fun filled night, however they appreciate that the locale is outdoor and when the weather is nice, they want to stay and bask in all that it has to offer. Of course, on some days, if it’s raining or if it’s too sizzling outside, the two of us find a fantastic diner or cafe to spend the night. The diners in the section have air conditioner and heating for the colder days. If the diner has an outdoor space, it will supply portable gas furnaces during the colder weeks, and so, with all these chances for outdoor and indoor entertainment, this is my family’s preferred locale to hang out when they come to town. While I don’t mind the heat in Phoenix, I do appreciate that there are air conditioned spaces where I can sit and prefer a cold drink. It is beneficial to a city appreciate Phoenix to have locales appreciate First Wednesday at Roosevelt Row, then not only is it a fantastic space for family-friendly entertainment, but it is also a fantastic space that has both indoor and outdoor locales, however and while I care about to be outside, it’s nice to have the choice of these air conditioned bars and diners when I do need to cool off from the heat.
