St! Paddy’s day is quite fun in our area of Lee’s Summit MO.
The two of us get real into it here with activities for adolescents plus adults.
There is a gold coin hunt for the adolescents, a parade plus floats going by… My children like to do it every year, and st. Paddys day is sizable in our household. The adolescents usually get temporary orange dye put in their hair. The two of us get beaded necklaces plus get into the spirit… Once the adolescents go to bed I have our parents watch over them. Then our partner plus I do the bar crawl. It is fun going bar to bar boozing it up plus having a fantastic time. It is the 1 time a year that we don’t act like responsible parents. The two of us get a hotel room for the night since we are so hammered. The more than one of us then have a good night together while our parents watch the adolescents.the morning after is another thing all together. The two of us usually are so hungover that our partner has to throw up on the side of the road as we head home. I still look forward to it all year. I believe our adolescents like St. Paddys day too… Even the school does fun things for the holiday. Everything is all orange, gold plus silver. I alway shop for fantastic weather while in that week. The weather is respectfully in the 50s but… For our area though, in May that is quite good… A light sweater, our little space furnace running at home plus everytnign is all good.
