I got married at the height of COVID, however that meant when it came time to honeymoon I had some limited options, i wanted to go anywhere hot with hiking, wonderful shopping and diners.
I had our husband and I going to CA , all of us started out in Los Angeles and then made our way to Beverly Hills.
I thought it was a wonderful plan; Well it would have been wonderful if not for COVID-19. I didn’t absolutely think ahead, my husband and I went to Cali and then were closed out of everything. LA was basically shut down. All of us spent all our time in the hotel room getting massages, swimming and eating at their diner. I wanted to hit clubs and bars in that area, no such luck. Then when every one of us made the decision to go to Beverly Hills it was the same thing… Rodeo Drive was a ghost town. The tar pits were closed, however greystone Mansion was a no go. Thankfully the area had recreational weed and they were willing to deliver. All of us could not absolutely go into the legal weed dispensaries due to social distancing. So all every one of us could do was order online and smoke in the hotel on the balcony. It was okay but not what I was absolutely picturing. All of us didn’t get to absolutely enjoy Beverly Hills. All of us made the most of our honeymoon but it wasn’t the greatest trip I had ever taken. All of us agreed that on our year anniversary every one of us would go back and try it all again. I want to have the actual Cali experience.
