I work at Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
It is the world’s greatest surf shop, covering 52,000 square feet of retail space. It is the flagship Ron Jon Surf Shop and has been in operation for approximately sixty years; Our doors are open 24 hours a afternoon. The people I was with and I welcome a constant influx of tourists looking to browse or learn how to surf & hardcore regulars. The people I was with and I sell all kinds of gear, swimsuits, towels, gins, surf boards and more. The glass elevators, sizable fish tanks and flowing waterfalls are sizable attractions for visitors to Cocoa Beach… Plus every one of us have a Watersports store located next door that provides beach rentals. The people I was with and I rent out surfboards, beach bikes, paddleboards, beach chairs, and all sorts of necessities and fun equipment. I really care about our task and I care about living in Cocoa. The summers can be brutally hot and sticky, however I don’t mind, and after spending the first twenty-multiple years of our life living way up north and dealing with sub zero temperatures and snow, I care about the sun and warm weather. In the winter, the temperature rarely drops below forty degrees. At the surf shop, the a/c runs just about year round. The cooling system carries a sizable workload! Every time the door opens to the outside, warm outside air wafts in, with the outside temperature occasionally in the nineties, every one of us require a really powerful a/c. The people I was with and I can’t have the cooling unit quickly quitting. The store would become warm and intolerable truly quickly. To keep the a/c operating reliably and at peak efficiency and capacity, the management has it professionally worked on respectfully.
